Adeptus Partners Announces Division Leaders to Accommodate Agency Growth

Howard Krant, CEO and Managing/Founding Partner of Adeptus Partners, leads a strong team of top talent to meet the growing needs of our accounting and advisory firm.  

Operating a tax Firm since 1985, Adeptus Partners was founded in 2011 by Howard Krant, our CEO and Managing/Founding Partner. Howard has served clients across many industries, and as individuals, for over 40 years. His knowledge and drive have helped Adeptus grow from an accounting firm with tax clients to an ever-growing business with a Taxation Division, Attest Division, and Business Management Division.

Agency growth has accounted for 40% in volume, with over 130 employees working diligently to serve the world’s top artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, business executives, and their enterprises. To meet the needs of our growing client list and to guide staff, Adeptus has recruited top talent in these divisions, including professionals with experience in taxation, conflict resolution, and international taxation.

Adeptus Taxation Division

The Taxation Division of Adeptus is led by Michael Hoffman. Michael is an award-winning Tax Partner, a Taxation Services Leader, and Vice Chairman of the Advisory Committee. He has been with Adeptus Partners for 12 years and specializes in Tax Law, Tax Advisory, Tax Compliance, Personal Income Tax Returns, Tax Planning, Accounting, Corporate Tax, and Tax Preparation.

Adeptus Attest Division

The Attest Division of Adeptus is led by Brian Murphy. He has more than 20 years of experience providing assurance services, including audits, reviews, and compilations, in a wide range of industries for both publicly traded and closely held businesses as well as not-for-profit organizations. Brian specializes in broker-dealers, manufacturers, and not-for-profit organizations. He is also responsible for implementing and maintaining the Firm’s assurance policies and procedures and compliance with governing bodies. In addition, he guides Firm professionals on technical accounting and auditing matters.

Adeptus Business Management Division

The Business Management Division of Adeptus is led by David Levin. David has had a flourishing career managing medium-sized accounting firms, including opening his own boutique firm, David Levin Business Management (DLBM) in 1997. David is an award-winning business manager, earning accolades from Billboard Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, and Variety for numerous consecutive years as one of the most respected and top business managers in the US. He will be instrumental in organizing and acting as a point person for our talented and growing business management team.
