About

Michael A. Raiken is a Partner in the New Jersey office of Adeptus Partners. Michael has been working in the tax accounting field for over 25 years. He leverages his 16 years of experience working at the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent and as a litigation Attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel to assist his clients cut through the red tape of Federal and State Tax Agencies’ bureaucracy. Michael prides himself in providing comfort to his clients dealing with late income tax filings, governmental agency inquiries and examinations, income tax collection matters, and ensuring the proper reporting of complicated tax transactions to minimize tax exposure. Michael is also an attorney that can offer protected communication with his clients if the need arises. Michael started his career at a local CPA firm assisting on attest engagements conducting certified financial and “yellow book” audits of public and governmental agencies. In addition, he prepared Federal and State income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. During this time, he honed his skills in preparing detailed workpapers and his understanding of the different accounting methods used by multiple industries to obtain the best outcomes for his clients.
