About

Brian Murphy is the Partner-in-Charge of Attest and Assurance Services Group.  He has more than 25 years of experience providing assurance services, including audit, reviews, and compilations, in a wide range of industries for both publicly traded and closely held businesses as well as not-for-profit organizations. Brian specializes in broker-dealers, manufacturers, and not-for-profit organizations.  He is also responsible for implementing and maintaining the Firm’s assurance policies and procedures and compliance with governing bodies.  In addition, he provides guidance to Firm professionals on technical accounting and auditing matters.

Prior to joining Adeptus, Mr. Murphy worked for a privately held manufacturing company as the director of finance and administration as well as a senior manager at a large national accounting firm.

Mr. Murphy is a member of the NJCPA, the AICPA, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.

In his spare time he enjoys going to the beach with his wife and two boys and playing golf
